On Reclaiming Human Agency

Digital spaces are essential to human collaboration, yet they have evolved to limit our agency — our power to make informed choices and act independently.

To correct this, we're building tools to:

• Manage our online experience
• Control our digital identity
• Protect shared digital spaces
• Enable positive-sum value creation

Our first step toward this vision is Cartographer — an open-source tool for agency discovery and collaboration management. It enables communities to:

• Understand how their systems and resources are actually used
• See how people and teams really work together
• Discover critical capabilities and dependencies
• Take action to achieve better outcomes

We're developing Cartographer in partnership with businesses, open source communities, and service providers — and we're looking for more collaborators to help shape its future.
